welcome

Meet me, Michelle Longo-Bloom. I write about mental health related issues. Here you will see my  TRUE "Labor of Love", my book,

"Over the Rainbow:
A Story of Life, Love and Family with Bipolar  Disorder."

You will also have the chance to look over some of my articles and learn what I write and why I write it. This array of articles is vital to me as they focus on assorted mental health issues and basic life-living topics.

You will get a refreshing opportunity to read four of my children's stories, all of which speak to the moral expectations held for children today and teach valuable lessons of character.

Finally, you will get the opportunity to skim or read through a lot of my poetry themes. Some of these themes speak to true days of hardships while others are most uplifting, ( even humorous). I believe all share a common thread of creativity that will shed light on many and

"Grace You with the Colors of Life!"

A "Favorite Quotes" page is also included just for some good old fashion, mentally stimulating FUN!

A "Blog" page will give me an opportunity to post bulletins and announcements of upcoming events such as book signings and places I will be speaking. I will also post any relevant information from many of our mental health support foundations and associations of events that will be taking place or events sponsored by such organizations.  This infomation will include dates, times and locations of such events.  Some of these organizations include NAMI (National Alliance for Mental Illness), SAVE (Suicide Awareness Voices of Education), AFSP (American Foundation for Suicide Prevention), etc. (SEE BELOW).

In addition, "the blog page" will enable anyone to leave a comment, or several comments, about anything they would like.  Opinions and views on anything you have read would be accepted and appreciated.  A simple note telling us how you are doing and feeling today will be more than welcomed.  If you are having a "good" or "not so good" day, please let us know! if you would rather not share publically, feel free to send me a private message at
